This morning we enjoyed spending time tree planting at one of our local lookouts, Bracken’s View. We also spent time picking up litter on the Dundas Track, learning more about Thomas Bracken, and revitalising Ōpoho School’s special connection with the area.
Whānau buddies learned and got their hands dirty together today, each strengthening their tuakana-teina relationships and showing great resilience in spite of the chilly breeze that characterised much of the morning! As the sun rose it warmed us up and helped us to enjoy our mahi 🙂
